Gaultier’s Bra by Albion Harrison-Naish on Flickr.
Or Melbourne Central as I think it is really known. But you know, from the outside it looks like a giant bra cup, one of those old school ones that is sewn, or of the weirdo sewn padded variety beloved of Gaultier, particularly during the 80s. Anyhoo, yes, you guessed it, another Melbourne shot, although this time we move away from the laneways. Don’t worry, we’ll return sometime soon.
Melbourne Central, from what I gathered walking around it for half an hour, is a rather large shopping centre with a major train station below it. And on the site, is this heritage building that the bra encompasses. The whole centre is built around this, so you get this rather disconcerting feeling when next to this old heritage building but in a modern shopping centre at the same time.Quite odd.
